At Hilldrop Healthcare Centre patient safety is a top priority.
Basic life support (BLS) training reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, performing CPR, choking relief, using an AED, and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
We are proud of our employees who renewed their BLS certificates on Wednesday 15/112023
We are a sub-acute hospital licensed with The Department of Health KZN and Board of Healthcare Funders. Our facility is recognised by all medical aids.
We are situated in the quiet suburb of Hilldrop, in close proximity to Newcastle CBD and all the hospitals in Newcastle. We are a short-term rehabilitation and recovery centre that offer 24 hour professional nursing care for the following:
- Post-surgical recovery
- Strokes
- Hip and knee replacements
- Wound care
- Palliative care and more.
